• Is the information in publications indexed by Google?

Your publications on FlippingBook Publisher will be indexed by Google and other search engines. This is by design as a landslide majority of our clients want it like this for all their publications. Stopping search engines from finding publicly accessible content is almost impossible in the first place. However, if you really want to prevent this, then you can try the following:

Print the PDF to a virtual PDF printer and then under advanced options select the 'Print as Image' option.

It should be done like that, step one:

Step two -  click on the button Advanced next to the name of the printer and in the popped-up window select the 'Print as Image' option as in this screenshot:

This will print your document as a new PDF, but it will turn all pages into images. This will also prevent users from searching text in your publication itself, but this is the only way to make it considerably less likely to be indexed by Google too.

If you already had a publication online, then we would advise you to completely delete the old publication and create a new one, as this is much more likely to get the results out of Google's cache than by reusing the existing link by only updating the PDF.
