• What languages are supported by FlippingBook Publisher?

FlippingBook Publisher has 17 translations of the publication interface : English, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Russian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Polish, Norwegian, Finnish, Turkish, Hebrew and Arabic.

Below you can find out how to view your publications in the language you want.

Note!The language applies to all texts that we use in the menus, windows and bars. The content from your PDF will NOT be translated.

Using your client's own language

If you want your visitors to see the publication interface in their own language, do the following:

  1. Go to the “Text Captions tab” which can be both on the left and on the right side of your publication.
  2. Check whether the “Multi-lingual Publication” checkbox is enabled.

It translates the publication interface to all supported languages. For visitors it will be automatically changed to the browser's language.

Using only a specific language

If you want your publications to be shown only in one language, you can disable the Multi-lingual checkbox and choose the language by clicking on “Language Template”:

Modifying text captions

If you need to make any corrections:

  1. Go to the Text Captions tab. 
  2. Select the field where you want to change the text.
  3. Type your own text instead.

Translating the interface in one of non-supported languages.

If you need to translate the interface in one of non-supported languages:

  1. Go to the Text Captions tab.
  2. Select the field where you want to change the text.
  3. Type your own text instead.

You can save your own language templates for reuse in other projects by following the steps below:

  1. Go to “Text Captions” Tab.
  2. Click on “Language Template”. You’ll see a pop-up panel “Languages in Multi-Lingual Pack”.
  3. In the upper right corner of this panel find the icon “Save Language As” and click on it.

Select the desired folder and save the template in .p2lt format.

After that, if you need to use the saved template simply load it back to your other publications by clicking on “Load Language” button next to the “Save Language as.. ” button.
