Can I receive an invoice before paying?

You can get an invoice before paying if you buy FlippingBook Online Starter (or higher) and have annual billing. How exactly depends on whether you buy a new license, renew an active license with a subscription, or renew an active license without a subscription

 

For new licenses

If you are buying a new license, follow the instructions below:

  1. Go to https://flippingbook.com/order-online  and click the Buy Now button for the plan you need 
  2. Complete the order details and select Purchase Order as the payment method. Enter your internal PO number. It will be added to the invoice. 
  3. Press the Next button. 
  4. Review your data and confirm that you agree with the Terms and conditions.
  5. Press Buy now. You will see instructions for sending your purchase order. Our payment partner Cleverbridge will also send these instructions to your email address. If you cannot raise a PO, contact our sales team for an alternative solution.  
  6. After Cleverbridge verifies your purchase order, they email your invoice and payment instructions. From this moment your license is fully active.
  7. You can now complete the payment in your regular billing/AP cycle by e.g. bank transfer, ACH, or check. If paying by check, make sure that you send it to Cleverbridge's check remittance address, not to the office address! The check remittance address is mentioned on the invoice.​

 

 

For renewals with a subscription

If you have an active license with an active subscription then there are two possibilities:

  1. If you raised a Purchase order for your initial purchase, you don't need to do anything. We will send you a new invoice on the day your license expires. Your license is renewed automatically and you can pay the invoice in your regular Accounts Payable process.​ If you want a new PO number added to the invoice, just let us know
  2. If you did not raise a PO for your initial purchase (for example if you bought with a credit card), you must cancel your existing subscription first. We can help you set up a new subscription with PO as described in the paragraph below.  

 

 

For renewals without a subscription

If your subscription is canceled (but your license is still active) and you want an invoice for the renewal, just reach out to our support team. We will generate a quote for the renewal and an accompanying order link for you. In the order link, you select Purchase Order as the payment method but there is no need to send us the PO. You will immediately receive the invoice by email upon ordering.
