How do FlippingBook subscriptions work?
FlippingBook Online is a subscription-based service. Your account, and the flipbooks you create stay active for as long as you pay for your subscription. In this article, we outline the different phases your subscription goes through (sign-up, active phase, and cancelation) and links to articles with more detailed information.
When you sign up you choose your
- Plan: we offer six different plans with increasing levels of functionality (and fewer limitations). We advise you to consult with a product specialist to find the most suitable plan. Our pricing page also describes all the differences, but in a nutshell:
- Lite: entry-level plan, 3 ad-free flipbooks at the same time, can’t be branded or embedded.
- Starter: 10 flipbooks, that you can embed into your site and update.
- Optimal: 100 flipbooks fully brandable and add interactivity: videos, images, links.
- Advanced: Use URLs with own domain, get detailed stats, and use advanced protection options.
- Team: use FlippingBook with multiple users and have shared folders that all users can use.
- Enterprise: for big teams and organizations that require SSO for flipbook or account access or have specific demands.
- Billing interval: choose monthly billing for greater flexibility or yearly billing for a lower overall price. Learn more.
- Payment method: choose from credit card, PayPal, bank transfer, and more. You can also get a quote or invoice before you buy. We support a wide variety of currencies.
You immediately pay for the first interval when you sign up. Your license will then be activated until the end of the billing period.
Active phase
As long as your license stays active, your flipbooks are available to your readers, you can create new flipbooks and change existing ones. At the end of the license period, we will renew your subscription automatically (assuming you didn’t cancel it) by charging your credit card or sending a new invoice. We don’t end your license straight away if there is a problem with the payment but generally offer you a 14-day grace period to complete the payment.
If you want to upgrade to a higher plan, you can do so in your account as long as your subscription is active. Some upgrades, such as buying additional flipbooks, users, domains, or trackable links are possible with our help. Downgrading to a lower plan is also possible with our help only as we need to check if you meet the limitations of the lower plan.
We will keep billing you until you cancel your subscription.
Cancelation
When you cancel your subscription, your account will stay active until your paid license period ends. Then, your account expires, you will no longer be able to manage your flipbooks and your flipbooks will go offline. If you had a yearly plan and canceled (for example, to prevent automatic rebilling) we will send you a reminder that your license is about to expire 30 days in advance.
