• Installing FlippingBook Publisher - Troubleshooting

If you’re having trouble installing FlippingBook Publisher, it’s probably because of one of the following reasons:

You don’t have sufficient rights to install applications (on Windows 7,  Windows 8 and Windows 10)

For example, you might not have the required rights to install FlippingBook Publisher on a computer at work. Contact your system administrator for assistance.

.NET 4.5 is missing

.NET 4.5 is a collection of libraries created by Microsoft and used by a large number of applications, including FlippingBook Publisher. If the .NET Framework is missing, you won’t be able to install FlippingBook Publisher on your computer.

Windows 8 comes with .NET 4.5 by default.

.NET 4.5 is also shipped with FlippingBook Publisher. However, if you encounter any difficulties during the installation, please note that .NET 4.5 requires the following:

  • A stable Internet connection
  • Direct Internet access (i. e. without the use of a proxy server).

You can download .NET 4.5 from Microsoft’s website.

You’re a Mac user

FlippingBook Publisher is a Windows program. But it is possible to use it on a Mac. Learn how to do it here.

You’ve encountered a fatal WMI error

Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) is a fundamental Windows technology for centralized management and monitoring of different parts of a computer system.

Unfortunately, this service is often extremely unstable, which can lead to various operating failures, such as not being able to launch FlippingBook Publisher. «Not found» or «Initialization failure» errors can occur on startup.

To fix this problem, you need to run repairWmi. bat. This file can be downloaded here. You’ll be able to launch the program once the script has finished running.

 Your installer has been corrupted

It’s possible that there were problems with the Internet connection when you downloaded the installer from our website.

Please try downloading the file again to fix the problem.
