2. Authorization failed.

As the number of allowed installations is limited by the number of workstations your license permits, you can come across the error message “Authorization failed: you have exceeded the number of allowed installations”.

It means that you have exceeded the number of installations your license allows. To fix this issue, you will need to unregister, as described in the first part of our article about the error Installation Limit Exceeded.

Also, since the number of allowed deregistrations is limited, you can come across the error message below:

This happens when you exceed the number of deregistrations your license allows, and in this case, please, contact us at support@flippingbook.com for assistance.

3. License Server Operation Failed error.

This error signifies that your copy of FlippingBook Publisher is unable to connect to our servers. With older versions of FlippingBook Publisher (versions before 2.6.5.), the error can occur due to the change in the SSL/TLS certificates on our license servers. As for more recent versions of FlippingBook Publisher, a proxy or the CachedServiceDiscovery.xml file can be to blame. To fix this issue, please, check our article License Server Operation Failed error message.

4.  Error "Number of publications exceeded".

If you have bought a FlippingBook Publisher license, you will initially get a Support & Updates service for one year for free. It allows you to upload 3 publications on the FlippingBook Cloud at the same time. If you want to host more flipbooks on FlippingBook Cloud, then you will have to switch to the Support, Updates & Unlimited Cloud service.
