How to brand my flipbooks?

FlippingBook Online allows you to change the publication’s appearance. With the Optimal, Advanced, and Team plans of FlippingBook Online, you can change the background image, company logo, interface colors, and favicon. Compare the standard flipbook with the customized one on the GIF:

How to add a Skin to my flipbook?

The appearance of your flipbook greatly depends on what we call the Skin. A skin is a collection of all the graphical elements (icons, background images, menu colors, etc.) You can customize the appearance of your flipbook by choosing from one of our skins. The skins are different sets of visual design options for the interface of your flipbook. Choosing a skin will help you give your content a custom look to suit your brand identity.

You can change the skin as follows:

  1. Open the list of your flipbooks.
  2. Hover over the flipbook you'd like to change and choose the Customize option from the three-dot button menu:
     
  3. Click the Skin setting on the left and select any of the 24 skins that show up. Pick the one that best suits your content.
  4. Click Finish at the top of the page to save the changes.
 

How to change colors for navigation elements of a flipbook?

Another feature that allows you to change the appearance of your flipbook is Color Palette. This option has a lot of subsettings. Therefore, we describe it in a separate article: Color settings for FlippingBook Online.

 

How to change my Background image? 

If you want to use a custom image of your choice as a background for your flipbook and override your selected Skin’s default one, the option Background image is for you. 

To use it, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the list of your flipbooks.
  2. Hover over the flipbook you'd like to change and choose the Customize option from the three-dot button menu:
  3. Click Branding, then Background image > Browse Image and choose the picture that you'd like to use as a background.
  4. Click on OK and Finish at the top of the page.

How to change my Logo?

Another feature that helps you to adjust your flipbook to your company’s style is Logo. You can either upload your own image to replace the standard FlippingBook Logo or remove it completely. The logo is shown in the bottom-right corner of your flipbook.

To swap or remove the logo, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the list of your flipbooks.
  2. Hover over the flipbook you'd like to change and choose the Customize option from the three-dot button menu:
  3. Click on the Branding section to unfold it.
  4. Then, click on the button after Logo
  5. If you want to change the logo, choose Browse Logo Image to import the picture with your logo.
  6. If you want to remove the logo, press on the cogwheel and click Remove.
  7. You can specify a link to your website in the field Web Address (URL). When your visitors click on the logo, this URL will be opened in a new tab.
  8. Click OK and Finish at the top of the page.

Note! Your logo automatically adjusts its size and fits the available space in the corner of the screen. This way you don't have to worry about your flipbook covering it when opened. However, if you make the flipbook's window small enough, the logo may be slightly covered by the flipbook's pages. For the best experience, we recommend using PNG files with a transparent background. How to change my Favicon?

When using the Optimal, Advanced, Team, and Enterprise plans of FlippingBook Online, you can also change or remove your Favicon. The favicon is displayed in your browser’s tab, next to the name.

To change your favicon, follow these steps:

  1. Open the list of your flipbooks.
  2. Hover over the flipbook you'd like to change and choose the Customize option from the three-dot button menu:
  3. Click on Branding.
  4. Click on Favicon.
  5. You can now use the Browse Image button to select a file on your computer to use as the favicon. But you can also try to grab the favicon from your site (or any site) just by entering the URL in the field Import favicon from your website. Note that not all websites allow their favicon to be used like this. If that's the case, you'll see a warning "Oops, seems the website doesn't have a favicon we can import. Try browsing for an existing file."
  6. Click on OK and Finish at the top of the page.

Note!The preferable size for a favicon is up to 192x192 pixels.

 

How to save my settings for all the flipbooks?

Your branding settings can be saved as default for future and existing uploads. This can be useful when you create several flipbooks for your company and have to add your branding settings manually every time for every of them.

Here are the steps to follow to save settings as default directly from your account:

  1. Open the list of your flipbooks.
  2. Hover over the flipbook you'd like to change and choose the Save settings as default option from the three-dot button menu:
  3. Apply the settings to existing books in the current folder or future flipbooks (regardless of the folder). Or both at the same time:
