How Ray White Canberra Helps their Real Estate Sales Team with FlippingBook Publisher

Ray White Canberra is Australia’s largest property advertiser. Their handpicked team of sales agents handles everything from studio apartments to multimillion-dollar campaigns and helps to find the right buyer and the best price for a property. The company mostly works with property buyers, property sellers, investors, developers, and owners.

Challenge and Search for Solution

Ray White Canberra was looking for the best solution that could help the company keep up with the latest technology and create electronic presentations for their sales team easily and quickly, without paying a fortune. The company also needed a tool to create Welcome Packs with – materials for new property owners that contained essential information about the property as well as links and educational videos. These packs were of high importance to the company, and they had to look great and communicate information to the customers in the most effective way.

Karen Ferguson, Marketing Manager at Ray White Canberra, wanted to find a solution that would allow her to create professional publications herself without outsourcing to other companies, which could be rather costly.

Definitely, the cost is a major factor. Being able to be in control of creating something for our business is a much easier and cheaper option than trying to get an external company to create it for us.


Ray White Canberra turned to FlippingBook, because it allowed the company to easily create beautiful and professional publications that could be sent to clients, embedded on the website, and used in the Welcome Packs.

I made our new owners’ Welcome Pack with the help of FlippingBook. Owners receive a beautiful glossy folder with a USB stick enclosed. They have the option to view the publication online on Mac or Windows.

What Ray White Canberra values the most about FlippingBook is customization and branding: they like the ability to customize the background, logos, and colors, to add the company’s own branding, and to embed their new educational videos within the document.

In the last 12 months, I have worked on coordinating the production of a series of short educational and tutorial videos. I also create a biannual glossy hard copy publication, CityStyle Magazine, with the help of FlippingBook and upload it to the front page of our website.


With FlippingBook, Ray White Canberra publishes a variety of online documents that are interactive, with embedded videos and links. Creating the documents is pretty quick and easy. Karen is currently integrating FlippingBook in the administrative department of the company.

I’m in the process of training the administrative team for Strata to send out the new owners’ Welcome Packs. My only challenge is training someone who’s not very IT-savvy, but we will get there in the end.

Ray White Canberra has not had a great deal of feedback to date, but expects to receive it shortly from the new owners who get Welcome Packs with USB drives. The company hopes that the new documents will be a success among the owners who access the USB version. It’s really just a much nicer way of presenting relevant information about the building to the owners. Ray White Canberra hopes to continue using FlippingBook for many future projects.
