Starting with the next version, FlippingBook Publisher will no longer support Windows XP and Windows Vista OS.
What does this mean?
It means that you won’t be able to install the latest version of FlippingBook Publisher on a computer running with XP or Vista.
We had to take this step to implement HTML5 support for FlippingBook Publisher. It required updating the technologies we use, and since Microsoft stopped supporting XP and Vista in 2014, we also have had to leave these systems behind.
What you should do next?
There are three options available:
- Continue using FlippingBook Publisher 2.7.26. It should work without any problems, and our Support team will do their best to help and guide you, if you come across any issues.
- Install FlippingBook Publisher on a computer running Windows 7, 8 or 10 and update FlippingBook Publisher to the latest version, once it comes out.
- Migrate to FlippingBook Online, our web service. It works in a browser and doesn’t depend on your computer’s OS. If you have an active subscription to FlippingBook Publisher services, we offer a special offer for any annual plan of FlippingBook Online. Write us a message to learn how to get the discount.
If you would like to stay with the older version of FlippingBook Publisher that is compatible with Windows XP and Vista, you are free to do so. However, please note that soon the majority of browsers will stop supporting Flash publications and your readers may have problems viewing them.
