• Working with Content Editor

FlippingBook Publisher lets you create fully-featured rich-media publications with video, links and pop-up images. Links can be added when importing a PDF or edited directly in FlippingBook Publisher when working on the publication.

How to embed a video into a publication?

Import a document into FlippingBook Publisher.

Choose a page in the Page Browser and right click on it. In the dropdown menu, choose Edit.

In the Content Editor window, click Insert Video.

When the window appears, you'll have the option to paste a YouTube or Vimeo link or embed code.

Your video will now be displayed in the page preview. Try moving it on the page and adjusting its size (you can do this by dragging the video or by using the settings in the column on the left).

You can also set a start time for the video (for example, start at 00:10) and enable/disable autostart when the page is opened.

Note:Before embedding your video, make sure it is uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo.

How to create and edit links?

Import a document into FlippingBook Publisher.

Choose a page in the Page Browser and right click on it. In the dropdown menu, choose Edit.

Click the Insert Link button.

When the window appears, you can specify the link target. This can be a page in the same publication or any valid URL.

In the page preview window, you'll see a green rectangle, which defines the area of the link. Try moving it on the page and adjusting its size (you can do this by dragging the link or by using the settings in the column on the left). Put the rectangle on a word, word combination, sentence, or image you'd like to transform into a link.

By enabling the Use Custom Link Settings option, you can manually customize the link's look.

If you later want to edit a link, simply open the page containing the link, click on it, and edit the parameters in the column on the left.

How to embed and edit pop-up images?

Import a document into FlippingBook Publisher.

Choose a page in the Page Browser and right click on it. In the dropdown menu, choose Edit.

In the Content Editor window, click Pop-up Image.

Select an image from a folder on your computer and click Open. Now you can work with the chosen image.

A red rectangle shows the clickable area that will trigger your pop-up image to appear.

You can adjust your image area size by pulling its corners with your mouse.

There is a Pop-up Image Properties window in the left lower corner of Content Editor. You can change the dimensions of the image area or replace the current image with another one there.

By default, an embedded pop-up image looks like a transparent clickable area over an existing picture or another element on the page. You can include an actual preview of a pop-up image by enabling the Show Image Preview on Page option.

Once you are ready, close the Content Editor. All the changes will be applied automatically.
